Vendor portal
In Segment’s vendor portal, vendors receive orders, send delivery notes and digital invoices, and follow every document until it is paid. Large organizations such as the Ministry of Defense, the Israel Police, health funds and retail chains work with their vendors this way.
A vendor portal is a secure website that connects an organization with its vendors. The organization sends purchase orders through it, and the vendor confirms them, updates their status, sends delivery notes and digital invoices, and can see the state of every document at any time.
The data goes straight into the organization’s ERP system, with no paper and no double typing. The organization saves manual work and errors, and the vendor gets a clear picture of its orders and invoices.
All orders in one place, with items, quantities, prices, delivery terms and addresses.
The vendor confirms the order and updates its progress, and the organization sees the update in real time.
Delivery notes are linked to the order, so what was ordered is easy to match with what was delivered.
Invoices are sent through the portal or by direct interface (File 100, EDI), and checked before the organization receives them.
Vendors follow their own orders and invoices, so fewer questions reach the finance and procurement teams.
Vendors can be paid right after an invoice is approved, through our non-bank financing company, RTMI.
