Meet the people behind Segment

Stav Shacham

CEO & Co-Founder

Holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting and is a certified public accountant, with more than 20 years of experience advising companies and corporations, developing information systems and leading large, complex projects.

Founded Segment Information Technologies in August 1999 together with his brother, Chen Shacham. Today Stav leads the company’s vision and its global business.

On a personal note: Stav is married to Iris and a father of four, and is hooked on adrenaline and sport. He holds both a pilot’s licence and a skipper’s licence; on a Saturday morning, if he isn’t on the water, he’s probably in the sky.

Chen Shacham

VP of Technology & Co-Founder

Holds a BA in Computer Science and an MBA. Chen brings broad experience across information systems, systems engineering, software development and process analysis, AI, Big Data, databases, cloud, information security and more.

A co-founder of Segment Information Technologies and responsible for the company’s technology. Chen leads customer-focused development and manages the planning, design and development of all of the company’s products.

On a personal note: Chen is married to Rona and a father of three. He is always thinking about the next way to improve and refine the product. In his free time he enjoys jeep trips, sports and, of course, quality time with the family.

Kalkilya Border Police Battalion

Our non-bank financing company RTMI lovingly purchased winter gear for every soldier in the Kalkilya Border Police battalion. We were happy to visit, hand out the gear and light the eighth Hanukkah candle with the soldiers and commanders.

Ukraine’s national fencing team

Ukraine’s national fencing team got a welcome break from the tension when they visited Segment IT’s offices in Kfar Saba.

Leket Israel

We had the privilege of volunteering at Leket Israel’s packing center on behalf of families in need.
